Favorite Summer Reads Blogfest begins today!

The Favorite Summer Reads Blogfest begins today and will go through Saturday. All you have to do is pick a favorite read (this year, this summer, years past) and write why it is your favorite read. It'd be nice to have the cover art of the book, but that's it. Pretty simple. Oh, there is also a little form you should fill out, so we know where your blog is to discover new reads. There are also prizes. I will announce the winners on Monday. So click here for the form and to find out more information. I look forward to reading about your favorite books.

Blog Changes Starting in September

First off, don't forget to sign up for the Favorite Summer Reads Blogfest. You'll get to tell people of your favorite summer read and have a chance to win some cool books.

Since August is this blog's one year blogoversary, I've decided to add some content to it starting in September. The new blog schedule will be:

Mondays: New Releases Week - Books I've noticed that are coming out that week. If you have a book coming out and want me to announce it, click here for the form.

Wednesdays: Reviews - I'll put up a new book review. If you have a book coming out and would like me to consider reviewing your book, please click here. Keep in mind that I'm not accepting new review books until September.

Fridays: Interviews - These will be occasional, but I'm hoping to have interviews from the authors whose books I review. Plus, a giveaway here and there will be nice. These will occur on Fridays.

I do have a few reviews scheduled for non-Wednesdays due to release dates and such, but in general, we'll stick to the schedule.

If you have any questions, please feel free to comment.

Favorite Summer Reads Blogfest Announced!

I created this blog in August 2010, and in honor of its one year blogoversary, I've decided to create the Favorite Summer Reads Blogfest.

All you have to do is post on your blog between August 24-27 and tell us what is your favorite summer read. Please post a picture of a book's cover art and why it is your favorite summer read. Then we can hop around and find great books.

Now, of course, there will be prizes too. I have picked some of my favorite reads and placed them into categories. When you sign up in the form below, pick which category you want to have a chance to win books from. After the blogfest, I'll pick four winners randomly, who will have their choice of books from the category they selected.
